Aiolos Engineering is building and commissioning (turn key) a full-size Climatic Wind tunnel at Volvo's main operations in Gothenburg, Sweden. I was tasked to assist Aiolos' site Project Manager and Project Engineer, with coordinating their sub-contractors' work onsite as well as submitting critical building interface information to Volvo. I hit the ground running and was able to help with the following,
1) Requirements planning
2) Scheduling
3) Work plans
4) Risk Assessments
5) Building interface matrices
6) Lessons Learned documentation
Overall, my short tenure proved to be very productive! I exceeded the expectations of Aiolos and Volvo, leaving the door open for further opportunities in the future.

Project tenure: May 2018 to September 2019
Role: Project Manager/Engineer, Site Supervisor

I represented Aiolos Engineering as the key person on site, responsible for the start-up and commissioning of a combination All Weather Climatic Chamber and Chassis Dynamometer test facility that caters to vehicles of all sizes across various markets. The facility has the ability to test vehicles at temperature extremes (-40C to +50C ) throughout the year, while under full-load conditions. I was full-time, onsite, for 6 months, during the construction and start up phases. I then travelled back and forth from Toronto during the commissioning phase. I Supervised 8 sub-contractor teams (approximately 30 people in total), ensuring that all construction was to print and they fulfilled their contractual obligations. One of my biggest challenges, throughout this project, was to be able to think on my feet and make quick decisions. I applied my experience in process piping, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, hydraulics and HVAC throughout the course of this assignment.
